who murdered oscar? why is there no clues?

LAPD murdered the brown buffalo and for once cleaned up after the murder. The buffalo achieved stature in the community and played dirty-drugs, went against all cultural norms, and the LAPD resented the fact that despite their escalating violence and attempts to repress the chicanos further the will of the chicanos remained strong and the violence of the LAPD actually strengthened the chicanos power and desire to rise up and organize, claiming their constitutional rights and demanding to be acknowledged. the brown buffalo had a way that he organized the people and inspired nationalism, making their demands understood. he is sorely missed.

it's possible that the LAPD killed acosta and it makes sense that there is no evidence, LAPD is good at bungling and losing evidence. or maybe he just oded and went nuts and is in latin america with a head full of acid and a brown baby at his side.
